The Fund Managers will actively manage the exit process to realize the highest value for its portfolio companies. Exits will include mergers and acquisitions, sale to private equity or buy-out funds, and initial public offerings. The Fund Managers expect that, consistent with historical data in the Clean Technology sector, most of the Fund’s exits will be through acquisitions by major corporations or through sales to later-stage private equity and buy-out funds. Accordingly, the Fund will invest in companies that provide technologies for which major corporations and private equity funds have a demonstrated appetite. It is expected that, optimally, portfolio companies will be grown to revenue levels of $30 to $100 million, an ideal scale for acquisition.

The Fund Managers have extensive experience in exiting venture transactions, and have cumulatively realized well over $400M in exits.
